Save Visio Files as PDF Directly from Microsoft Visio

I write a lot of research papers and Microsoft's Visio 2007 is a great program for making diagrams and figures. If I want to incorporate those figures into a LaTeX document, I have to put them in either .jpg, .png or .pdf format (I use pdflatex). Being able to save as a PDF isn't enabled by default, but it's easy (and FREE) to enable.

First, open up a file in Visio, then go to File->Find other save options. This will take you to Microsoft's site, in particular this page. Once, there, just follow the instructions for installing the update and then when you go back to Visio's File menu, you'll have a new option: File->Publish as PDF or XPS. Couldn't be simpler than that. Well, I guess MS could have just installed the feature to begin with, but, at least they gave us the option!
